The Employment Tribunal is an independent judicial body established to resolve disputes between employers and employees over employment rights.
If your employee has brought a claim against your organisation, we can represent you at an Employment Tribunal hearing. The Employment Tribunal will hear claims about employment matters such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, wages and redundancy payments.Prior to your employee issuing a claim at the Employment Tribunal, the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (Acas) must be notified through Early Conciliation. An independent, impartial Acas Conciliator will then attempt to help both parties to resolve their differences. Our solicitors have vast experience in dealing with Acas and so we can handle this for you.
We shall ensue that any claims against your organisation are vigorously defended – unless settlement is a better option for you – in which case we will negotiate the best terms possible.
If your employee has brought a claim against your business – or if you believe that they are contemplating bringing an employment claim – it is important that you contact our solicitors as soon as possible. We can then take the necessary action to minimise the risk to your business.
